The TRA modifications that we perform, will reduce rotating weight and keep the clutch cooler meaning a longer belt life as well. For every pound of mass there are about seven pounds of static rotating weight. We machine the primary similar to that of the MXZx style primary, machining both the hat and the moving half. With the secondary, we machine the fins on both sides of the clutch, leaving enough for strength and durability. We then blast bead the fin area and polish the center hub part to a chrome-like finish for an outstanding appearance. The clutches have been tested on the grass and asphalt up to 9,850 rpms and have held up great. E.T.'s are noticably lower than with stock TRA's. Balancing is not required but recommended to reduce vibrations at the crank. Both the primary and secondary modification reduce rotating weight by well over a pound meaning more power to the ground in a faster time.
